It's been a month of some amazing music. First Gavin plays a great gig in Whelans and then Matt stuns us all with a beautiful low key event in Bewleys... I've been and will be away for a bit, but you have my solemn promise that the site will be completely brought up to date with the photos I have upon my return... 11.01.06 HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi all, hope you had a happy, healthy and prosperous Christmas and New Year!! Mine was certainly busy and to this end, very little has been done with the site over the Christmas period. This will all be rectified as soon as possible, with photos going up from the previous two years (pre-digital camera!) and more recent stuff from the Garageland gigs... Keep you posted!!

15.11.05 Garageland Gig 10/11/05

Shot the Garageland gig on 10th November in Eamon Dorans. Between one thing and another I haven't had a chance to put the photos up yet but will do immediately upon my return. A great gig and a good night had by all (I think!)... Well, Ballyfermot seemed to enjoy itself!!! More on this and the Garageland series later...

15.11.05 Away on a winters break

I'll be away until the Friday 25th November. Off to France for a week to relax, drink good wine, speak French, drink good coffee, chat with chic women, drink good wine, relax, speak French... 10.11.05 just added: Echogram @ The Hub

Echogram are a super act from Cork, with a really polished sound and really great melodies and fab lyrics (did I really say fab!?) I love 'em, and really hope they go far with their stuff; there's really no one else in Ireland doing this style of music at the moment and for that reason alone, we hope they keep going strong... even if they don't, I'll still love 'em! Keep a close ear and come back soon to see photos of them from HWCH 2004 (when Kilian had less hair!)

Yes I just bought a new lens; a 24-70 F2.8 EX Macro... It's yummy and takes lovely pictures... so bright. Did photos of Echogram tonight at the Hub so I'll have them up asap so you can all see how yummy it is!!!

23.10.05 just added: Delorentos EP Launch @ Whelans, 15 Oct

Delorentos launched their new EP, "Leave it out" on the 15th October to a capacity crowd in Whelans. A fantastic gig, it's been a long time since anyone put on a light show like that in Whelans!!! And the music just rocks!!! How these guys are still without a record deal is beyond me but I hope this nationwide tour changes that for them. Just a matter of finding out where they play next!!!

04.10.05 finally, finally, finally!!!

Ok, the site is live... I've been promising for too long... so over the coming days I will be adding more and more photos. I have to copyright them all so it takes a bit of time and my PC isn't exactly the fastest... so visit regularly over the first week and if you played at any of the events I photographed, you may find yourselves here!!!

02.10.05 just added: Hard Working Class Heroes 2005

Hard Working Class Heroes 2005 took place all across Temple Bar (and this year crossed the river to Spirit and Pravda) on August 26th - 28th. A great weekend was had by all and the acts were (as usual) all fantastic. With acts like Mundy, Matt Lunson, Gavin Glass and many more, why wouldn't it have been!!! Hard Working Class Heroes 2004 will be added very soon...

With much ado and glorious rapture, irish band photos has finally gone live. We had hoped to have this up and running long ago but unfortunately this wasn't possible. Finally, though, it's alive!
